Cats are independent creatures, each with a character as unique and diverse as their canine and human counterparts.

Cat grooming is still a relatively new idea to the UK as in past times cats were pretty much left to fend for themselves. But if we go back to the first cats, domesticated from the African Wild Cat, we will see that they were invariably short haired, free ranging animals that had no need of a grooming brush!

Today cats lifestyles are very different. Long haired breeds are incredibly popular and they are just not designed to look after all that fluff by themselves!
